Job summary

Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center in Lincolnton, NC seeks a Maintenance Assistant to support facility operations with mechanical maintenance and preventive tasks. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment, using a CMMS to document work orders and coordinate with contractors.

The role requires reading schematics, basic welding, and teamwork, with leadership responsibilities for supervising external vendors when needed. On-site position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Experience with facilities maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
