Job summary

Oregon Beach Vacations is seeking Maintenance Technicians to ensure vacation properties are safe and in working order. You will complete daily work orders, inspect interiors and exteriors, and advise on licensed repairs when needed.

The role requires independence, attention to safety, and strong communication with the management team and guests. Responsibilities include testing and basic repair of systems, maintaining inventory, and assisting guests with home issues.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and attention to detail are essential for coordinating with guests and management.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and boiler systems.
• Willingness to work independently and in rotation schedules, following safety and procedures.

Job description

The Maintenance Technicians primary function is to ensure that the properties assigned are in safe, working order. Maintenance Technicians will complete assigned work orders to repair or replace items in homes and properties. If a licensed professional is required, this position will advise the management team of specific needs. This position is responsible for additional inspections of homes including the interior and exterior of the structure and fixtures and furnishing.

Areas of Responsibility and Duties

Complete assigned daily work ordersAccurately complete required documentation; submitting and required information at the end of the shiftWork independently on assigned work orders or assignmentsSpot safety risks and address issues quicklyUnderstand basic operation of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and boiler systemsTest, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipmentMaintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as neededAdvise management of repairs needing a licensed vendorMaintains company assigned vehicles, as appropriateAssist guests with troubleshooting of home issues including technology in homesObserve established policies and proceduresWork after hours as assigned in rotation scheduleOther duties as assigned
