Job summary

Cornwell Quality Tools, an employee-owned company with a 100-year legacy, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance across multiple locations. The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical work, with duties including equipment servicing and safety inspections, in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of maintenance experience, reads blueprints, and can work independently. Excellent benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of maintenance experience with electrical background.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with CNC maintenance preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance trips to multiple Cornwell locations.
• Install, service, and maintain lighting systems and motors.
• Lubricate parts on washers, lathes, and other equipment.
• Test circuits and wiring for safety compliance.
• Repair mechanical, hydraulic, water, steam, and air systems.
• Respond to emergency repairs and equipment failures.
• Perform plumbing tasks for gas, air, and water systems.
• Inspect pumps and boiler systems regularly.

Your Role:

• Strong preference in CNC Repair, Electrical and Mechanical Backgrounds
• Perform daily trips to multiple Cornwell locations for maintenance, pickups, and deliveries
• Install, service, and maintain lighting systems, electric motors, transformers, and other electrical systems
• Lubricate parts for washers, blasting machines, saws, lathes, and roof exhaust fans
• Test and inspect circuits and wiring for safety compliance
• Repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, water, steam, and air support systems
• Respond to emergency repairs, including electrical fires and machinery breakdowns
• Perform plumbing tasks, including installation and maintenance of gas, air, and water systems
• Conduct routine inspections, including pump stations and boiler checks

What we’re looking for:

• At least 2–4 years of maintenance experience, with a strong electrical background
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with CNC maintenance is preferred but not required
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A valid driver's license and adequate insurance coverage

Physical Demands:

• Climbing, balancing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing repetitive motions
• Working in noisy conditions and occasionally exposed to dust, dirt, heat, cold, and fumes
