Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around our community grounds and buildings, addressing service requests promptly and cost-effectively.

The role requires basic trades skills, problem solving, and the ability to respond to emergencies or on-call situations. The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience, understands plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, and can communicate

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience is preferred.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled hours.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and code compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around the community grounds and buildings as assigned.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Fix wall and/or floor coverings, repair furniture and fixtures, perform basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs.
• Repair appliances, paint and refurbish as needed, assist with HVAC, refrigeration, carpet and hard surface maintenance, and make ready rooms.

Our community is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Routine maintenance duties may include: fixing wall and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects, working with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance and “make ready” rooms as assigned.

Qualifications:

• One year maintenance experience.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• Has a general understanding of systems including: plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.
• Possess a general understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
