Job summary

Opal Grand Resort in Delray Beach, FL is seeking Maintenance Techs to handle upkeep, repair duties, and respond to guests' maintenance requests. You will service hotel equipment and perform basic tasks across painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool and spa.

Ideal candidates are hardworking, with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent organization and communication, and a team-oriented approach. A high school diploma and at least two years of similar experience are required; post-offer

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
• Extremely organized with good communication skills
• Detailed oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving
• Must be a team player

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool & spa (minor repairs)
• Troubleshoot and repair company machinery equipment or appliances
• While walking throughout the property, make note of items in need of attention
• Respond to guest room calls/maintenance calls in a timely manner
• Keep all maintenance storage areas neat and clean
• Be an active participant in inventory control

Maintenance Techs will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including identifying the need for repairs, responding to guests' maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment.
