Job summary

Southern Healthcare Management in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support facility equipment and systems. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and help with preventive maintenance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include reading manuals, using CMMS, supervising contractors, and ensuring safety and compliance. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, basic welding, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma, equivalent, or at least one year physical plant and equipment experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude in facilities maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is preferred.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Qualifications
