What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping the apartment community safe, functional, and looking its best. You'll handle a variety of day-to-day maintenance needs, troubleshoot problems, complete repairs, and help prepare apartment homes for new residents.

Key responsibilities include:

• Property Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance throughout the apartment community, including residential units, building interiors and exteriors, common areas, and other areas of the property.
• Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and complete general repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, small appliances, fixtures, and other maintenance needs.
• Flooring Installation: Install and repair tile and laminate flooring as needed.
• Apartment Turnovers: Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing necessary repairs and improvements, including sheetrock repair, taping, sanding, painting, and repairs to doors, windows, lighting, and fixtures.
• Emergency Maintenance: Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies in accordance with company procedures.
• General Support: Assist with additional maintenance projects and responsibilities as needed to support the property and residents.

• Fire Safety certification.
• Basic personal tools needed to perform routine maintenance and repair work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, which may include lifting and carrying heavy items, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and balancing.
