Job summary

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, seeks a Maintenance Technician for its New Mexico operations. You will diagnose equipment problems, perform repairs, and support a high-intensity logistics environment serving 14,000 items across distribution centers in TX and NM.

The role requires mechanical aptitude in plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration, plus ability to work in freezers and learn basic computer tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration.
• Able to work in the freezer (0–10 degrees).
• Must be able to learn basic computer functions.
• Must be capable of keeping accurate records.
• Must be able to follow oral and written directions.
• Must bring a valid state-issued ID or driver’s license and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical.

Maintenance Technician

We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Be able to diagnose equipment problems and make necessary repairs
• Follow all safety procedures
• Follow and complete work in the work order system
• Be able to be on call for emergency situations
• Responsible for any task assigned by management

Maintenance Technician Qualifications

Schedule

• Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and some weekends may be required
