Job summary

McDonald’s Restaurants Limited is seeking a Maintenance Person for a franchise location in Lancaster. The role focuses on keeping the restaurant interior and exterior clean and ensuring equipment is properly maintained.

You will be part of the Maintenance Team, receiving training and tools to succeed. Responsibilities include daily fryer oil filtering, grounds maintenance, cleaning tasks, and basic upkeep such as changing bulbs and handling light maintenance.

Qualifications

• Maintenance responsibilities for interior and exterior cleanliness and restaurant equipment upkeep.
• Reliable to perform basic repair tasks and assist management as needed.
• Willing to unload deliveries and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily.
• Maintain outside grounds.
• Clean equipment, windows, stock rooms and restrooms.
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week.
• Take out and empty trash compactor.
• Change light bulbs.
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof debris.

Requirements:

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
