We are looking to hire an Maintenance Team Manager immediately at our Brand Aromatics Manufacturing Plant in Lakewood, NJ.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop direct reports while fostering a team environment.
- Resource planning, daily management, and implementation of initiatives including Safety, Effective Maintenance, supporting Autonomous Maintenance, and PR% improvements.
- Manage 3rd Shift Production Technicians responsible for sanitation washdowns.
- Ensure compliance with USDA sanitation inspections and quality standards.
- Identify critical machinery and ensure spares are in stock.
- Lead spare parts process and manage storeroom; operate CMMS as a power user.
- Manage maintenance budgets, operations of the storeroom, and audit CMMS KPIs.
- Meet regional PM expectations and operate high-pressure boilers.
- Support development of McCormick’s High-Performance Organization (HPO) teams.
- Manage training for the PM group to enhance skills supporting plant equipment.
- Identify and reduce equipment performance losses and repetitive issues.
- Lead cultural and process improvements for continuous plant improvement.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and control costs and scheduling.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- At least 3 years of supervising maintenance staff.
- Experience improving Process Reliability (PR%) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
- Experience with CMMS, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
- Proven ability to maintain manufacturing equipment and deliver loss reductions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Root Cause Analysis experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and action-oriented.
- Willingness to work flexible hours across three shifts.
- Experience managing projects to completion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Understanding of business decisions based on financial, inventory, and customer service metrics.
- Participative management skills.
- Experience in the flavor or food manufacturing industry.
- Project management and contractor oversight experience.
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and food manufacturing processes.
- Proven leadership in high-performance environments.
- Knowledge of additional functional areas outside current discipline.
