Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong PLC/automation knowledge, and a proven track record in leading RCFA and improvement initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and industrial automation systems.
• Proven ability to lead complex problem-solving efforts and perform RCFA.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex equipment issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
• Drive equipment reliability through RCFA and corrective actions; support preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Serve as primary technical resource for PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, motors, sensors, and safety systems.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations for equipment installations, upgrades, and capital projects.
• Mentor and train maintenance technicians to strengthen troubleshooting capabilities.

As a Lead Maintenance Technician-3rd shift, you will be the technical expert who helps keep critical manufacturing equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. Your expertise will directly impact equipment uptime, product quality, production performance, and the success of continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will serve as the go-to resource for complex troubleshooting and equipment reliability challenges, while helping develop the next generation of maintenance talent. You'll partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Facilities teams to solve problems, improve processes, and support the introduction of new technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex equipment issues involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, CNC, robotic, and automated manufacturing systems.
• Drive equipment reliability by conducting root cause failure analysis (RCFA), implementing corrective actions, and supporting preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, motors, sensors, safety systems, robotics, and industrial automation controls.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to support equipment installations, automation upgrades, capital projects, commissioning activities, and process improvements.
• Mentor and train maintenance technicians, sharing technical expertise, establishing best practices, and strengthening troubleshooting capabilities across the team.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with progressively advanced troubleshooting responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and industrial automation systems.
• Experience supporting and diagnosing PLC-controlled equipment, industrial controls, motor controls, and related manufacturing technologies.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, VFDs, robotics, CNC equipment, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proven ability to lead complex problem-solving efforts, drive equipment improvement initiatives, and perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
• Effective communication and leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring, or developing maintenance technicians.
