Job summary

Nike seeks a Maintenance Team Coach in Missouri (Saint Charles area) to lead daily maintenance execution on the designated shift, ensuring safety, reliability, and high performance of manufacturing equipment. You will coach a team of technicians, coordinate maintenance activities with Production Leadership, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise, CMMS experience, and a proven ability to develop talent

Qualifications

Technical degree, skilled trades certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of leading or coaching maintenance teams.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning processes.
Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and reliability principles.
Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance teams in preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with safety, LOTO, permits, and regulatory requirements.
Prioritize maintenance work based on production schedules and risks.
Coordinate maintenance handoffs and communicate equipment status to Production Leadership.
Drive reliability improvements through planning and execution.
Develop team capability via coaching, training plans, and performance management.
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Support troubleshooting and rapid response to minimize downtime.
Lead safety investigations and corrective actions.
Ensure completion of required training for the maintenance team.
Monitor maintenance performance metrics and drive improvement actions.
