Performs maintenance service and repairs of buildings and equipment in order to provide a safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, staff and visitors. Assists other team members to perform the work involved in a specific trade.

• Demonstrated basic mechanical knowledge and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Responsible for accurate and timely completion of documentation in Computer Maintenance Management System i.e., work orders, equipment, and area records.
• Demonstrates the ability to address quality issues and customer satisfaction using care, courtesy and cooperation with guests, staff and community members.
• Communicates with manager, supervisor and other facilities staff regarding problems and opportunities, responding positively to feedback.
• Utilizes training in performance of job duties and to facilitate personal growth with demonstrated willingness to work/learn in all other relevant facilities areas.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous facilities experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required.
• Valid Driver’s License required

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Schedule: 0700 to 1600. Monday-Friday. Rotating on-call required.
