Job summary

Camp Copass in Denton, TX seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to care for facilities and sound equipment, handle setup, fix issues, and address maintenance work orders while ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires endurance of Texas heat, a positive attitude toward guest experience, and willingness to work weekends and long hours during the summer season. On-call rotation and scheduling adjustments may occur.

• Handle all set-up and the “last look” before groups arrive, checking buildings for maintenance items that need to be addressed.
• Responsible for keeping all tables and chairs: matching in that building, in good condition, clean (even if that means wiping them down before group arrives).
• Oversee all inventory, use, and maintenance of sound equipment.
• Assist groups with the use of all sound equipment, including both portable and permanent systems around campus.
• Be available for on-call maintenance hours whenever needed to help camp run smoothly.

• The likely schedule will be Tuesday–Saturday, with Sunday on-call rotation. This schedule may be changed by the Director of Maintenance as needed.

Hourly pay: $17.00

This position is flexible and can be up to 40 hours per week.
