Mark-Taylor is hiring a Manager of Facilities and Service (Maintenance Supervisor) for The Parker on Higley in Gilbert, AZ. You will lead a team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers to keep the community running smoothly and deliver five‑star resident service.

You will oversee hands‑on maintenance, manage schedules and vendors, and ensure safety, quality workmanship, and timely work orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervising maintenance in multifamily property management.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pool, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances, and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $31.00/hr - $33.00/hr.
• All service team members who participate in the on-call rotation receive an additional $3.00/hour incentive for all hours worked while on-call.
• Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications.***

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Maintenance Supervisor in multifamily property management.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances, and OSHA-related safety standards.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide maintenance team members, coordinate daily tasks, and promote accountability.
• Ability to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner while maintaining quality workmanship and resident satisfaction.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs, apartment turnover readiness, and quality control inspections to ensure apartment homes meet community standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain operational efficiency.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, oversee maintenance projects, and ensure work is completed safely and to established standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on resident satisfaction and maintaining a positive community environment.
• Lease-up experience preferred.
• Industry certifications, including EPA, HVAC, CPO, or OSHA, preferred.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will:

• Serve as the leader for the team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers.
• Oversee and execute the hands-on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
• Perform consistent inspections, diagnosing problems, and making necessary repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, dry walling, appliances, and exterior structures.
• Manage the daily inventory of apartment homes in order to support leasing efforts, including managing the Make-Ready, Turn Board.
• Schedule contractors and vendors as needed.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and correct the hazards.
• Share rotating on-call duty with service team members and readily available to go the property after hours if needed and in uniform/badge.
• Complete Weekly Service Report in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Mark-Taylor safety protocols, programs, policies and procedures.
• Participate in training classes.
• Train and mentor Service Technician and Facilities Technicians.
• Keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections, inventories, pool chemical logs, make-ready and turn units.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive rapport with all residents and team members.
• Capital project oversight, bidding, and execution.
