SSC Services for Education in Stephenville, TX is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a campus facilities team and ensure safe, reliable operations across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will oversee maintenance staff and subcontractors, drive safety and quality standards, and foster a culture of training and service excellence on campus.

This role requires strong communication with campus customers, adherence to codes, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with technical training or equivalent experience.
• Master/Journeyman trade license with electrical/plumbing certifications preferred.
• Experience with commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to drive a company vehicle; DMV check required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and encourage a dedicated maintenance team, providing direction, support, and mentorship to ensure the highest standards of excellence.
• Supervises maintenance, from routine repairs to troubleshooting complex issues in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring efficient functionality across campus facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, supplemented with technical school training or equivalent work experience. College degree preferred.
• Possess Master/Journeyman trade license with certifications in electrical or plumbing highly preferred.
• Expertise in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems, with ability to read complex schematics and blueprints.
• Creative problem‑solving abilities coupled with experience troubleshooting and resolving diverse maintenance issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with diverse customers and convey complex technical information clearly.
• Must be authorized to drive a company vehicle, motor vehicle record check required.
