Overview

Today, we seek a Maintenance Supervisor for our Southridge Apartments and Townhomes in Arden, NC, comprising 148 apartment homes. The role involves leading our maintenance team to ensure property upkeep, resident satisfaction, and long-term property preservation.

Responsibilities

1. Work with, train, and supervise the maintenance team, motivating staff to meet property goals and deliver excellent customer service.
2. Complete work orders and apartment turnovers timely, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with the renovation team.
3. Support the property manager in achieving a loyal resident community and financial success.
4. Develop your skills and those of your team through Palms’ training resources, safety programs, and industry designations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in property management maintenance.
• HVAC certification required; CPO certification can be obtained through Palms.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedules.
• Leadership qualities, problem-solving skills, and role model capabilities.

Technology & Communication Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office 365, mobile device operation, and access to personal mobile device for management apps.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; bilingual skills are a plus.
