Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its South Austin properties. You will oversee maintenance activities, lead a team, and work to improve property condition and retention.

This role reports to the Community Manager and involves scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination. We offer an hourly/exempt position with competitive pay, healthcare and 401(k) benefits, and opportunities for growth within a national real estate portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property maintenance.
• Three years of experience as a manager/supervisor.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Pool certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance within the maintenance team.
• Improve processes and find efficiencies in workflow.
• Troubleshoot and implement cost-saving techniques and improvements.
• Lead in the management, training and retention of quality employees.
• Review pending work orders and allocate the map appropriately.
• Maintain monthly and yearly budget overages.
• Coordinate scheduling of regular maintenance and repairs and negotiate contracts with vendors.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will contribute to increasing retention rates and occupancy percentages by maintaining and improving the physical property.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshootandimplementcost-savingtechniquesand recommend improvements.

Qualifications
