Maintenance Supervisor - Ridgecrest Commons

Position Overview

Roundhouse, a rapidly growing developer and manager of diverse real estate projects, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Maintenance Supervisor. Founded in 2008, we operate in four states with over 8,500 multi-family units and assets under management exceeding $1.5 billion. Responsibilities
  • Oversee maintenance technicians, groundkeepers, or housekeepers, including assigning work orders, providing guidance and training, and managing daily schedules and vendor coordination.
  • Supervise complex repairs and assist with routine maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and code violations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, preventative maintenance, invoices, and employee training.
  • Perform vacant unit inspections prior to move-in.
  • Manage large capital projects and renovation schedules to meet goals.
  • Utilize community management software proficiently as per company policies.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance inventory within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors as needed.
  • Communicate maintenance status and issues to the Community Manager.
  • Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotations and snow removal when required.
  • Exercise sound judgment in evaluating work quality and communicate constructively.
  • Follow all safety procedures outlined in company policies and equipment labels.
  • Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively at all times.
Minimum Requirements
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Three years of experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO certification, and carpentry systems is highly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Salary & Benefits

Competitive pay ranging from $28.00 to $31.00 per hour, plus bonuses. Benefits include 9 paid holidays, paid time off, a 30% employee housing discount, a $75 cellphone stipend, medical/dental/vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, mental wellness programs, and maternity and parental leave. This is a full-time position.
