Job Summary

As the Maintenance Manager - Recsports, you are responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations of the Recsports department. Provides world class customer service and management of building management. Has responsibility for the planning, scheduling, and oversight of work requests, building repairs, preventative maintenance for TAMU buildings. We are looking for a candidate who exemplifies a high level of energy and enthusiasm in the daily performance of work and has a proven record of engaging a diverse and multi-disciplined client base and staff. We expect this person to develop high-performance work teams as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the performance of vendors to ensure the highest quality of service and the best value.
• Manages the maintenancedepartmentproviding general and technical maintenanceservices at TAMU.
• Monitors and controls expenditures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• At least five years of experience managing in a Maintenance Environment.
• Must possess a valid Class “C” driver’s license.
• Requires the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform under pressure in both an internal departmental contact and in client capacity.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications.
• Knowledge of building automation and mechanical systems is essential.
