Job summary

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of Swan Landing Apartments in Lakeland, FL. The position requires hands-on maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting and related trades; strong customer service and vendor-management skills

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Proficiency with computers including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations to maximize resident satisfaction.
• Ensure safety, appearance and operational standards.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, exterior work and appliance repair.
• Manage day-to-day administrative operations of maintenance, including vendor management and recordkeeping.
• Handle service requests to prepare vacant apartments for market readiness.
