Job summary

Walmart is seeking a maintenance leader to oversee daily operations of the maintenance department at the Valdosta, GA site. This role focuses on diagnosing equipment issues, repairing power and automation systems, and training associates to ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

The position emphasizes adherence to OSHA and other standards, coordinating with production teams, and driving continuous improvement and reliability across material handling and conveyer systems.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in Walmart maintenance technician position, or 1 year's experience in industrial maintenance, including six months leading a work or project team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily maintenance operations across equipment and systems.
• Diagnoses equipment problems and develops repair options.
• Ensures repair actions and trains associates to execute them.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT and other applicable rules.
• Maintains energy center and building systems; supports production quality.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
