ELS in Stella, North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a maintenance team and ensure high-quality repair work across plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance systems. You will manage daily operations, safety, and budgeting for maintenance projects while coordinating with management and staff.

The role requires 3+ years of direct technical maintenance experience, prior supervisory duties, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years direct technical maintenance experience (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).
Previous supervisory experience required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavy equipment.
Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance duties including plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repairs and appliance repair.
Lead and manage maintenance team; ensure safety and adherence to standards.
Interview and train staff; conduct performance reviews; initiate disciplinary actions as needed.
Maintain maintenance logs; delegate work orders; schedule preventative maintenance.
Conduct regular property inspections and monitor equipment and grounds.
Assist budget planning for maintenance projects and capex; manage department budget.
Communicate with management and staff; respond to guest concerns promptly.
