Job Description

Christopher Todd Communities on Mountain View (Surprise, AZ) and Greenway (Surprise, AZ) apartments are seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor. This role will be shared between both properties. (www.christophertodd.com)

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community, ensuring a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Key duties include addressing maintenance issues, overseeing service requests, performing inspections, managing preventative maintenance, and controlling departmental budgets. The role also involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.

Requirements

• 5+ years in property maintenance or related field.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Proficient in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC systems (heat pump experience a plus), pool maintenance, landscaping, and cleaning.
• Own tools and reliable transportation for vendor visits.
• EPA and CPO certifications required; CAMT preferred (willing to obtain if necessary).
• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders, walk between buildings, and perform manual tasks.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fair Housing certification prior to resident interaction.
• Ability to travel for parts procurement.
• Willingness to undergo drug and background screening.

Work hours: 40+ hours/week, including evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.
