This position is responsible for working closely with management, maintenance and production staff to keep production equipment and plant facilities in a safe and efficient working manner. This position is responsible for effectively managing a budget, preventive maintenance, departmental purchasing, a team and coordinating installations and projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance department budget by keeping accurate records of expenses per piece of equipment or system and to make departmental purchasing decisions that best meet the budgetary goals of the Company.
• Supervise and mentor the team of maintenance technicians, handling day to day scheduling of staff to keep within the budget and meet the needs of production including all necessary equipment repairs.
• Trains maintenance staff in all aspects of troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs.
• Responsible for managing the preventative maintenance program.
• Coordinating installations and projects - ensures that projects are done according to proposal specifications and that the installations meet Company safety, quality, and production standards.
• Build relationships with outside vendors to secure repairs and training for the Sabrosura team
• Effective communication to lead maintenance staff
• Role model and leadership skills
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and other equipment
• HVAC, Boilers, General Electrical, PLCs, VFDs, and general process engineering principles experience

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Licenses and certifications preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Moderately strenuous work involving standing, walking with frequent bending, twisting, pushing and squatting; Repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Fast-paced clean environment; frequently cool, wet, and moderate noise along with working with chemicals
