Arxada is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Modesto, CA, to lead maintenance activities, drive preventative programs, and partner with cross‑functional teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance. You will champion safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across the site, reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager.

The role requires 5 years of leadership in industrial maintenance, 3 years in electrical systems and PLCs, and ability to interpret CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree in a technical or related discipline preferred.
• 5 years of extensive experience in industrial maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of industrial electrical systems, OSHA requirements, automation technologies, PLC programming, and process controls.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance strategies and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD documentation.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure plant equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently while meeting production and quality requirements.
• Prioritize and manage maintenance work orders, establish standards, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs for critical manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and site leadership teams to minimize downtime and drive operational excellence.
• Support capital projects through planning, coordination, and execution with strong communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Champion safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance including OSHA, FDA, SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards.

As a Maintenance Supervisor in Modesto, CA, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you will lead maintenance personnel, drive preventative maintenance initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency. Essential Job Functions

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 years of extensive experience in industrial maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment
• 3 years of industrial electrical systems, OSHA requirements, automation technologies, PLC programming, and process controls.
• Experience implementing preventative maintenance strategies and leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD documentation
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team development skills
• SQF certification and forklift certification, or ability to obtain and maintain required certifications

The expected salary range for this role is 100,000 USD to 103,000 USD annually but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location, and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. This role is also eligible to earn a short‑term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
