We are seeking a hands-on Off-Shift Maintenance Supervisor to oversee skilled trades personnel in a heavy industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance, team leadership, and safety compliance. This role ensures critical equipment uptime and supports the success of production operations during off-shift hours.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and promote a culture of safety, environmental compliance, and ergonomic best practices.
2. Supervise maintenance personnel performing repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
3. Schedule and track maintenance tasks using SAP.
4. Collaborate with engineering on equipment upgrades and process improvements.
5. Ensure all maintenance activities meet OSHA, environmental, and internal safety regulations.
6. Support and train maintenance technicians on procedures, safety, and equipment knowledge.
7. Provide timely and clear communication to team members and leadership.
8. Coordinate overtime and shift coverage as production demands require.
9. Be present on the shop floor approximately 50% of the time.

Required Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (hydraulics, motors, cylinders, heavy machinery).
2. At least 2 years of experience supervising maintenance teams.
3. Proficient in SAP (Plant Maintenance) and Microsoft Office.
4. Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
5. Working knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 standards.
6. Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift and extended hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 5+ years in maintenance leadership, especially in union environments.
2. Experience in foundry or heavy industrial settings.
3. Familiarity with RSLogix or PLC troubleshooting.
4. Understanding of 480V power distribution.
5. Strong team leadership and change management experience.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering – or – equivalent hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
