Job summary

AMG Vanadium LLC in Cambridge, OH seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the production/maintenance team, ensuring safety, environmental, production, quality, maintenance, and cost goals are met. You will build a highly engaged team through training and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include coaching for safety, reducing environmental risk, maximizing equipment uptime, and driving KPI improvements while fostering AMG V’s culture and values in day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical background.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; steel or hot metal experience a plus.
• Previous leadership experience with proven safety leadership.
• Union experience preferred.
• Must be adaptable to change and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Lean manufacturing mindset and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including midnights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production and/or maintenance team to meet safety, environmental, production, quality, maintenance, and cost goals.
• Train and develop team to ensure safety and mitigate environmental risk.
• Maximize productivity and equipment uptime to meet production and cost targets.
• Track, report, and drive improvement in key operational KPIs.
• Lead equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance efforts.
• Lead continuous improvement activities and drive problem-solving.
• Coach and mentor team members for growth and performance.
• Lead change to achieve AMG V’s goals.
• Perform other duties as may be required.
