BWX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance technician team at our Jonesborough site in Tennessee. You will schedule work, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive safety and reliability across facilities and equipment.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance, 2 years in frontline supervision, strong leadership, CMMS familiarity, and US citizenship with ability to obtain a DOE clearance. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical degree; certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance and 2 years in frontline supervision.
• Experience with industrial equipment, facility systems, pumps, valves, controllers.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and blueprints; CMMS experience.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain DOE clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance technicians and support performance development.
• Review daily work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and documentation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and facility issues.
• Coordinate downtime with operations and minimize disruption.
• Maintain inventory and liaise with vendors.
• Ensure safety, policy, and quality compliance.
• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and schedules.
• Support onboarding and training for new technicians and safety culture.
