Job summary

Moove North America in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician Supervisor to lead the maintenance department and ensure safe, reliable operation of plant equipment. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance planning across multiple systems.

The supervisor will direct technicians, oversee preventive maintenance programs, and coordinate with contractors on capital projects while upholding Lean manufacturing principles and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&ID drawings, electrical schematics, technical procedures, or regulations.
• Math: basic algebra and geometry; ability to calculate figures and quantities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with enterprise-wide computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and installation work on equipment, machinery, and facilities including pneumatic and some hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs; test and verify repairs.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery; maintain accurate records of parts used and parts needed.
• Supervise maintenance technicians, develop preventative maintenance programs, ensure safety training and certifications meet policy requirements.
