Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Justin, TX to lead maintenance operations ensuring a safe, functional, and compliant facility. You will hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff while coordinating schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities include overseeing preventive maintenance, managing HVAC, boilers, water systems, and generators, as well as coordinating with external contractors to maintain high standards of safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience, healthcare or long-term care preferred
• Understand HVAC, boilers, water, and emergency systems
• Able to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program
• Demonstrates leadership and communication skills
• Can manage supply ordering and departmental budgeting
• HVAC experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members
• Promote safety & compliance: conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills
• Oversee preventive maintenance: develop and implement a preventive maintenance program
• Maintain equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators
• Manage supplies & budgeting: order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines
• Supervise contractors: oversee and coordinate work by external contractors
• Maintain standards: ensure facility and equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with regulations
• Train staff: provide job-specific training and promote safety procedures
• Coordinate schedules: plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets
