Lampstand Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bryan, TX is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the facility remains safe, compliant, and functional. You will oversee preventive maintenance, HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, generators, and essential equipment while managing supplies and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience, healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Understands HVAC, boilers, water systems and emergency systems.
• Able to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills.
• Can manage supply ordering and departmental budgeting.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote Safety & Compliance: conduct fire system inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain Equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage Supplies & Budget: order maintenance supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
• Supervise Contractors: oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain Standards: ensure facility and equipment are safe and compliant with regulations.
• Train Staff: provide job-specific training and promote safety procedures.
• Coordinate Schedules: plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
