Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee Maintenance Technicians across plant operations in Hillsboro, TX. You will ensure safety, quality, and strong team performance while planning preventive and predictive maintenance, coordinating projects, and overseeing asset care and reporting.

You will manage ERP/SAP-driven maintenance workflows, supervise staff, drive continuous improvement, and work with procurement and finance to align with budgets and capital projects.

Qualifications

• ERP/SAP experience required.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Decision making based on data.
• Previous supervisory and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Ensure EHS compliance and Safety Committee activities in plant. Lead MOC where needed.
• Team Building: foster a respectful, productive work environment and engage staff.
• Supervision: conduct IPP reviews and regular performance assessments.
• Inventory: manage MRO storeroom and cycle counts for accuracy.
• Purchasing/Sourcing: procure maintenance materials and ensure vendor compliance.
• Scheduling: align shifts with workload and budget; coordinate with contractors and departments.
• ERP: manage work orders, maintain BOM, train SAP users, and ensure master data accuracy.
• Continuous Improvement: drive root-cause analysis and capital investment justifications.
• Budgets: monitor maintenance spend and asset management.
• Other: prepare materials for shipping for repairs.
