Job summary

Canfor El Dorado Laminating Plant in El Dorado, AR is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance crews, balance production needs with safety, and drive operational excellence.

The role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance leadership and 10 years as a maintenance/electrical technician, with familiarity with electronic maintenance systems and lumber manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance and leadership experience in industrial manufacturing.
• 10 years of experience as a maintenance or electrical technician or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of an electronic-based maintenance program would be an asset.
• Knowledge or experience in lumber manufacturing is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance crews and ensure work is performed safely and without undue risk.
• Coordinate planned work of crews to meet maintenance and production targets and to adhere to quality standards.
• Develop and follow the preventative maintenance program and keep cost targets within budget.
• Provide direction and support to reports and foster effective working relationships across the team.
• Plan and implement daily and weekly preventive maintenance work lists and duties.
