JSK Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Chicago, IL to lead a 10–12 person maintenance team at a high‑speed production facility. You will drive preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting to keep lines running and safety-compliant.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical skills, a floor‑first leadership style, and the ability to develop a team in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with opportunities to lead capital projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership in manufacturing.
• BS/BA or AAS preferred; high school diploma or GED with relevant certifications accepted.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; hands-on with manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to train and coach mechanics on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 to 12 maintenance mechanics and electricians with hands-on guidance and training.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues to keep production running smoothly.
• Oversee workforce planning and scheduling including hiring, training, and employee development.
• Enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Collaborate with production teams and participate in capital projects to drive efficiency and reliability improvements.
