Job summary

Ascension Commercial Real Estate LLC is seeking an Experienced Apartment Maintenance Lead to supervise the maintenance team and uphold the physical integrity, safety, and comfort of our apartment community.

You will coordinate repairs, make-readies, preventative maintenance, and rehabilitation projects while coaching staff to perform tasks efficiently and safely for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Three years' experience in apartment maintenance.
• HVAC Certification and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and direct maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, A/C and boilers.
• Coordinate and supervise make-readies, repairs, and rehabilitation projects.
• Maintain safe working environment and ensure safety processes are followed.

Job description

Experienced Apartment Maintenance Lead Needed

Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor and lead our maintenance team in ensuring the physical integrity, general upkeep, and safety of our apartment community. You will coordinate and direct maintenance activities, including repairs, apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, perform, and assign maintenance team to perform minor and routine maintenance and repairs, including:
  • Electrical and plumbing (including water lines)
  • A/C and heating systems
  • Appliances
  • Interior/exterior lights
  • Boiler, gas, and electric systems
  • Pool areas and equipment
• Communicate assignments to the maintenance team, monitor progress, and provide coaching and advice.
• Ensure maintenance team members have complete instructions, supplies, tools, and safety equipment to complete tasks properly and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all safety processes are followed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Three years' experience in apartment maintenance.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• HVAC Certification.
• Valid driver’s license required.
