We are currently seeking a skilled & motivated Maintenance Supervisor in Training for Charlotte, NC in the South - Steele Creek area.

Location:

• Bexley Steelecroft

Note: You will be working and training onsite alongside a supervisor with a full maintenance team. Future flexibility to transfer to another Charlotte community for a supervisor role is required.

In this role, you will manage and coordinate activities of a service team to ensure upkeep, inventory, and repairs of grounds and buildings are completed efficiently. You will work as part of the team to perform all maintenance duties.

Our maintenance team diagnoses problems and makes repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances. You will schedule and supervise all in-house and vendor work. Sharing on-call duties with other team members is required.

This is a hands-on role. The performance of our service team maximizes rents and maintains high occupancy levels by following professional maintenance practices, quality control, and policies/procedures. Our service team is customer service driven, creating a lasting impression on visitors and prospects.

Compensation:

• Starting at $25 per hour, depending on experience
• On-Call Bonus: $150 per week (regardless of calls) plus an additional $150 per holiday on-call bonus
• Quarterly Bonus: up to $1,110 based on property and team performance
• Benefits include vacation & sick time, holiday pay, insurance, rent discount, and 401K with company match

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years trade-related experience with at least 1 year in apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, interior/exterior maintenance, and carpentry
• EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification (Type I and II or Universal) required
• Hands-on HVAC repair experience required
• Proficient in using business software for work orders, scheduling, and communication
• Willing to share on-call duties
• Valid driver's license, transportation, and tools required
• Background and DMV checks will be conducted
