Job summary

Weinstein Properties in Charlotte is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor in Training to join our on-site team. You will lead a maintenance service group, coordinating HVAC, electrical and plumbing tasks while ensuring high resident satisfaction.

Starting pay is $25 per hour with on-call bonuses, holiday bonuses, and quarterly performance bonuses. The role offers growth within the company and exposure to multiple communities as you advance to a supervisor position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years trade related experience with at least 1 year of hands on apartment maintenance lead, assistant or supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, interior/exterior maintenance and carpentry
  • EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal)
  • Hands on HVAC repair experience required
  • Computer skills: use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies and communicate via email
  • Willing to share on-call with other team members
  • Valid driver's license, transportation and tools required
  • DMV and background/criminal check will be conducted

We are currently seeking a skilled & motivated Maintenance Supervisor in Trainingin the Charlotte area:


Location: South Charlotte


** You will be working and training onsite alongside a supervisor with a full maintenance team, will need to have future flexibility to transfer to another Charlotte community for a supervisor role.


In this role, you will be managing and coordinating activities of a service team to ensure that all upkeep, inventory and repair of grounds and buildings of the property are completed in an efficient manner, as well as working as part of the team to complete all maintenance duties.


Our maintenance team will diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural and appliances. You will also schedule and directly supervise all in-house and/or vendor work. You will share on-call with other team members.


This is a hands on role. The effective performance of our service team maximizes rents and maintains high occupancy levels by following professional maintenance practices, using quality control and following policies/procedures. Our service team is customer service driven which creates a lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents.

Compensation:



  • Pay - starting at $25 per hour depending on experience

  • On Call Bonus - $150 per week (calls or no calls) plus additional $150 per holiday on call bonus

  • Quarterly Bonus – $1,110 potential (based on performance of property and team)

Requirements:
