Job Description

The Collier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor!

This is an on-site role, reporting from one of The Collier Companies’ community offices in Tallahassee, a city known for its over 700 miles of trails, subtropical climate, rich history, and vibrant community life. Tallahassee is home to Florida State University and Florida A&M University, and ranks as one of the top ten best places to live in Florida.

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will support and manage the maintenance team to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards. You should be an expert at troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and providing customer-focused solutions. Responsibilities include repairs in HVAC (if applicable), electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance/Service Manager or similar supervisory role.
• Conventional experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Ability to recruit vendors and establish long-term relationships.
• Experience with Entrata Property Management Software is beneficial.
• EPA certification and HVAC skills are highly preferred.
• Willingness to participate in emergency on-call duties.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle overtime during peak seasons.
