Maintenance Supervisor I

AAMCI is hiring a Lead Maintenance employee to join our team at a 48-unit community split between two properties (10 minutes apart) in Winter Park, FL. The community is a Senior/Disabled affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents.

The role requires strong customer service, safety management, skill development, and time management to create a home and foster strong communities for our residents to thrive.

This position participates in on-call emergency duties during evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a premium pay rate for call-outs.

AAMCI offers numerous training opportunities and paid certifications to support your professional growth.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
  1. Perform preventive maintenance
  2. Diagnose mechanical problems
  3. Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical, or electronic components
  4. Assemble pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
  5. Use various tools including hand tools, power tools, and testing devices
  6. Complete work orders
  7. Order parts as needed
  8. Record repair work details and costs
Qualifications necessary for success:
  1. HVAC/EPA Certification required
  2. Adherence to work safety protocols
  3. Ability to perform physical duties including lifting, climbing, standing, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
