Qualifications

  • Minimum one year in a hotel maintenance position, supervisory role preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure that all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance are following company and
  • brand standards for compliance and safety
  • Ensures fulfillment of preventative maintenance programs o brand standards including equipment, heating
  • and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers/smoke alarms, plumbing
  • Completes preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public space
  • Ensures swimming pool and spa maintenance duties are performed according to brand standards and health department regulations
  • Proactively follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner.
  • Delegate, supervise, and participate in all preventive and general maintenance programs by maintaining a room's maintenance strategy and scheduling preventive maintenance
  • Assists other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving guest concerns
  • Educated hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions
  • Acts as Manager on Duty when required
  • Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of High School education, post high school education preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel maintenance position, supervisory role preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Team player
  • Ability to exceed expectations of guests
