Job description

The Maintenance Supervisor performs repairs and routine preventative maintenance to mechanical equipment, utility systems, structures, and grounds, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs. This qualified individual supervises the maintenance team and applicable vendors related to maintenance, capital improvements, and the curb appeal of the physical property. The Maintenance Supervisor is an integral part of the team. This key player will work with fellow team members to perform various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community, as well as ensure that daily maintenance tasks meet the quality maintenance standards set by the management company. Additionally, the Maintenance Supervisor maintains a positive outlook and interacts with residents and staff in a professional, courteous manner. Responsibilities: • Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures • Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks • Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade Qualifications: • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required • Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance • Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred • Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills Compensation: $52,000 yearly
