Job summary

Kruger Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our rapidly growing company.

This role will oversee the maintenance of all manufacturing and facility equipment and lead the maintenance department, line mechanics, and Maintenance Technicians. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance scheduling, work order completion, proper tool usage, record-keeping, parts management, lockout procedures, coordinating with outside contractors, and maintaining a neat, sanitized facility.

Qualifications

• Ensuring preventive maintenance is completed as scheduled.
• Ensuring all work orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensuring proper tools are used when working with production equipment.
• Ensuring maintenance records are up to date and organized.
• Accounting for all tools and parts used and/or removed.
• Locking out equipment before maintenance work.
• Notifying supervisor of problems or potential product risks.
• Ordering required parts.
• Scheduling equipment service and contacting outside contractors for facility equipment.
• Maintaining the shop in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Sanitizing or ensuring proper sanitation before returning equipment to production.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all Preventive Maintenance is completed as scheduled.
• Ensuring all work orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensuring proper tools are used when working with production equipment Vs. non production equipment.
• Ensuring all necessary maintenance records are up to date and organized.
• Accounting for all tools and parts used and/or removed.
• Properly locking out all equipment before performing maintenance work.
• Notifying supervisor of any problems or potential product risks.
• Ordering all required parts.
• Scheduling equipment service and contacting outside contractors for all facility equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining the shop in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Properly sanitizing or ensuring that proper sanitation has taken place before unlocking or returning any piece of equipment to production.
• Ensuring all work orders and or assignments have been completed in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
