Job summary

Advatix in Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee facility and equipment maintenance within Fulfillment Operations. The role focuses on managing vendor service agreements, coordinating service providers, and maintaining safety and compliance across production and warehouse assets.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of supervisory experience, an Associate’s degree or vocational certificate, and hands-on facility maintenance skills, including forklift certification and ISO knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Prior facility and equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience with warehouse equipment.
• Leadership experience with coaching and development.
• Ability to set priorities, make decisions, and run an organized operation.
• Effective communication at all levels, internally and externally.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Certified forklift instructor.
• PC skills and attention to detail.
• ISO quality knowledge and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining vendor service agreements for the facility and grounds.
• Oversee visiting service providers to ensure quality of assignments.
• Provide and maintain service to warehouse and production equipment via external or internal programs.
• Monitor the security of the building and safety equipment.
• Oversee certifications and training for power equipment.
• Maintain preventive maintenance for production and warehouse equipment.
• Record tests and inspections of fire protection, security, and alarm systems.
• Ensure safety inspections are completed and records kept.
• Foster a team-oriented environment across all levels.
• Coordinate tools and equipment provisioning for departments.
• Oversee hazardous materials handling per SDS program.
• Identify and react to potential safety hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
• Adhere to ISO policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as required.
