Job summary

Midwest Fastener Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Decatur, MI to oversee electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facility systems across the site. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure safety standards are followed while supporting production uptime.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and experience in facility maintenance; a powered equipment permit is preferred. Hours are 7:00am–3:30pm, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of building maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel is preferred.
• Powered Equipment Permit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, building structures, roofing, emergency exit signs, and loading docks.
• Conduct facility inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Maintain and repair company equipment (forklifts, conveyors, air compressors, etc.).
• Order and manage replacement parts, maintenance and janitorial supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the maintenance department.”
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with building systems and production equipment.
• Provide on-call support after hours to ensure operations and facility safety.
• Train and develop maintenance staff; supervise and assign work.
• Collaborate with other departments on facility needs and special projects.
