General Purpose:

Supervise all functions related to facilities maintenance, including preventive maintenance programs, repairs to buildings, property, and material handling equipment. Oversee maintenance G&A expenses, including landscaping, pest control, snow removal, janitorial, waste management, fire system maintenance, and certification. Review and recommend changes to material handling equipment and construction projects, ensuring timeline compliance and quality of work.

Salary Range: $71,200 - $111,100. The actual salary depends on experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, and location. This range is part of the total compensation package.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee maintenance of all equipment and facility systems, ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are followed and critical issues are responded to promptly.
• Train and develop maintenance personnel, ensuring skill sets meet job requirements.
• Utilize the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) effectively.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for construction projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Manage inventory of maintenance spare parts and supplies, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure contractual compliance across various service accounts.
• Partner with the safety committee to address safety issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 8-10 years of maintenance experience in large distribution or manufacturing environments.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in similar settings.
• Proficient in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to review schematic diagrams.
• Knowledge of CMMS and 5-S practices preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral/written).
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements & ADA:

Work in a warehouse environment, standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling all day. Must be timely and attend regularly. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, talk, hear, handle objects, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to see printed or electronic information. This role requires in-person presence for collaboration, meetings, and support.
