Base pay ranges from $22.05 to $27.57/hour, based on experience, with eligibility for team-based bonuses. Temporary associates may participate in the 401(k) plan but are not benefits-eligible. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply, with support for naturalization fees available.

Responsibilities

Supervise maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in compliance with regulations and policies. Key duties include:

• Supervising scheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, landscape, kitchen, and emergency equipment.
• Responding to resident repair requests and maintaining vacated rooms.
• Maintaining common area walls, floors, doors, and woodwork.
• Training maintenance staff and liaising with regulatory authorities.
• Conducting safety training and assessing property damage.
• Supervising maintenance technicians and engineers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED, plus 1-2 years related experience or equivalent.

Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License required for travel.

Skills: Basic analytic ability, understanding of safety and maintenance procedures, effective communication, problem-solving, and physical ability to perform job functions including lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Occasional evening, weekend, or night work and on-call duties.
