Job Responsibilities

• Manage and perform maintenance work to ensure property standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Handle resident service requests, diagnose issues, and complete repairs following safety and code standards.
• Oversee and execute the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, scheduling, and quality checks.
• Develop and maintain standards for community appearance and oversee periodic inspections of work performed by staff and contractors.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, assist in budgeting, and support cost-control initiatives.
• Conduct safety meetings, ensure compliance with OSHA laws, and promote a safe working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trades.
• Knowledge of safe tool and equipment use, with own hand tools preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management systems.
• EPA certifications (Type I & II or Universal) and valid driver’s license required.

Physical & Travel Demands

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
