Job summary

Newrest is seeking an Automation Maintenance Supervisor to direct technicians supporting automated production equipment. You will own safe corrective response during production, execute preventive maintenance, manage supplier escalation, and ensure spare parts availability at the site.

This role coordinates closely with the Automated Line Lead and Automation Manager. We offer AM, PM, and grave shifts to support 24/7 operations, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, mechanical and controls systems.
• Knowledge of safety procedures including lockout/tagout and site food safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and assign maintenance technicians; verify competence for electrical, mechanical and controls tasks and safe work practices.
• Triage breakdowns during production, coordinate diagnosis and repair, communicate restoration estimates and confirm equipment readiness before release.
• Escalate complex defects to equipment manufacturers or supplier hotlines; open, track and close support tickets with evidence and follow-up.
• Build and schedule preventive maintenance with Production, execute to documented standards and record completion, findings and follow-up work.
• Report equipment availability, maintenance backlog, preventive completion and critical stock risks to site leadership.

Your role

The Automation MaintenanceSupervisor directs the technicians supporting automated production equipment. The role owns safe corrective response during production, preventivemaintenance execution, supplier escalation and the availability and accuracy ofspare parts in Fractall. The role coordinates closely with the Automated LineLead and Automation Manager.

Key responsibilities

Team leadership and corrective maintenance

• Train, coach and assign maintenance technicians; verifycompetence for electrical, mechanical and controls tasks and safe workpractices.
• Triage breakdowns during production, coordinate diagnosis andrepair, communicate restoration estimates and confirm equipment readinessbefore release.
• Escalate complex defects to equipment manufacturers or supplierhotlines; open, track and close support tickets with evidence and follow-up.

Preventive maintenance and reliability

• Build and schedule preventive maintenance with Production,execute to documented standards and record completion, findings and follow-upwork.
• Review recurring failures and downtime with the AutomationManager and Continuous Improvement team; drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Ensure lockout/tagout, guarding, contractor control and sitefood safety rules during all interventions.

Spare parts and records

• Maintain spare-parts master data, stock levels, movements andwork-order records in Fractall.
• Set critical spares and reorder points using equipment risk,lead times and consumption; coordinate replenishment and periodic counts.
• Report equipment availability, maintenance backlog, preventivecompletion and critical stock risks to site leadership.

Matrix relationship with Group Innovation

• In addition to the site reportingline, maintain a matrix relationship with the Group Innovation team atheadquarters to support deployment and consistent execution of the Groupautomation strategy.
• Share recurring faults, equipment availability,preventive-maintenance findings and critical spare-parts risks with GroupInnovation, in coordination with the Automation Manager.
• Propose reliability and maintainability improvements, contributetechnical lessons learned to common standards, and support deployment ofGroup-approved changes at the site.
• Escalate major technical issues, supplier support gaps andsystemic failures requiring Group intervention; maintain an action log andreport progress through resolution.
