Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager, General Aviation Operations, this position supervises personnel and oversees daily maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operations across all airport areas within the AGC complex, including facilities and related equipment. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising, planning, assigning, and coordinating maintenance work by trades personnel and contractors.
  • Maintaining the main complex, facilities, grounds, airfield, and equipment.
  • Responding to emergency calls from departments, tenants, vendors, etc.
  • Generating work orders and reviewing contractor invoices for compliance.
  • Meeting with tenants, departments, and vendors to review activities.
  • Participating in safety meetings and conducting safety and maintenance training.
  • Developing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Conducting daily inspections to ensure safety compliance.
  • Preparing reports and performing other related tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five (5) years of maintenance supervisory experience in a union environment
  • Ability to obtain airfield driving privileges within 60 days of employment
  • Valid driver’s license (must be maintained throughout employment)

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of FAA FAR Parts 139 and 77
  • Knowledge of trades practices, safety, and union contracts
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of airport operations and Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work under stress and manage multiple projects
Physical Demands & Conditions

Includes sitting, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Must be able to work in various weather conditions, near moving equipment, and during rotating shifts, including holidays. Must be able to drive at night and understand English clearly.
